Meet Maryam Siddiqui, a 12-year-old Muslim girl, from Lucknow. She is the winner of the 2015 Indian Gita Champions League. Siddiqui is on a mission to promote the cause of education for the poor, she also calls herself an ambassador of peace. Maryam won the contest for explaining the teachings of the scripture in the best possible manner.

Saturday, 8 October 
Monthly Sankirtan Festival
Members of the ISKCON South African National Council, including His Holiness Bhakti Caitanya Swami and other senior devotees will be joining in.
 
You can expect first class arrangements. Programme includes breakfast, training, distribution of book spots, transport, and a lunch feast. Registration is essential. We will also have sweets to hand out. The dress code is comfortable. If you feel confident, you may wear devotional dress. Kindly register via: temple@iskcondurban.net. We encourage you to come for the morning program to get the full benefit of the festival.

9:00am Orientation
9:30am Book Distribution at pre-arranged spots (Devotees will be going out in groups)
12:00pm Pack up and return to Temple
1:00pm Lunch and sharing of experiences

Love Feast - The Significance of Purtassi @ 3pm
His Holiness Bhakti Caitanya Swami will guide us in understanding and appreciating the month-long devotion to Lord Vishnu, Krishna.
