Sri Radhashtami Festival Guide

Dear Friends

Hare Krishna. 

On Friday, 9 September, we celebrate the "tender hearted feminine counterpart of the Supreme Whole." Srimati Radharani is the supreme goddess of devotion and can award love for Krishna. We have planned an all-day festival in Her honour and encourage you to bring offerings of birthday cards, letters, gifts or flowers for Srimati Radharani. Your offerings will be placed on the altar. Red roses will be available for a donation of R10 to offer the Deities after 7pm arati. We welcome His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami, who will be joining us for the festival.

4:30am   Deity Darshan in Their 1st new outfit and Mangal Arati & Kirtan

5:00am   Tulasi-puja & Japa

7:00am   Srila Prabhupada's Guru-puja

7:10am   Class by His Holiness Bhakti Narasimha Swami 

8:00am   Greeting of Sri Sri Radha Radhanath in Their 2nd new outfit

10:00am Kirtan

10:30am Abhishek (bathing ceremony) of Sri Sri Radha Radhanath

11:30am Class by His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami

12:30pm Cake Darshan and Arati & Kirtan

1:15pm   Feast. Kindly note: You are encouraged to bring your own plates and cups.
