Meet Maryam Siddiqui, a 12-year-old Muslim girl, from Lucknow. She is the winner of the 2015 Indian Gita Champions League. Siddiqui is on a mission to promote the cause of education for the poor, she also calls herself an ambassador of peace. Maryam won the contest for explaining the teachings of the scripture in the best possible manner.

Monthly Sankirtan Festival

Members of the ISKCON South African National Council, including His Holiness Bhakti Caitanya Swami and other senior devotees will be joining in.

 

You can expect first class arrangements. Programme includes breakfast, training, distribution of book spots, transport, and a lunch feast. Registration is essential. We will also have sweets to hand out. The dress code is comfortable. If you feel confident, you may wear devotional dress. Kindly register via: temple@iskcondurban.net. We encourage you to come for the morning program to get the full benefit of the festival.

Sri Radhashtami Festival Guide

Dear Friends

Hare Krishna. 

On Friday, 9 September, we celebrate the "tender hearted feminine counterpart of the Supreme Whole." Srimati Radharani is the supreme goddess of devotion and can award love for Krishna. We have planned an all-day festival in Her honour and encourage you to bring offerings of birthday cards, letters, gifts or flowers for Srimati Radharani. Your offerings will be placed on the altar. Red roses will be available for a donation of R10 to offer the Deities after 7pm arati. We welcome His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami, who will be joining us for the festival.
