Week Ahead 21-27 October 2021

 Dear Friends

The most auspicious month of Kartik has begun! We are elated to welcome you to the daily temple programs. Last weekend we experienced a powerful restart to the Sunday Love Feast. All who attended left inspired and eager to return this week. Thank you to those who contributed to the insightful questions, answers, and discussion.
During this month, as we invite increased grace from Sri Sri Radha Radhanath, let us also deeply consider the tragic plight of the people in Bangladesh. By now you would have received extensive information from us detailing the atrocities suffered by the devotees there. We invite you to raise your voice against the violence suffered by minorities, which includes the complete destruction of our ISKCON Temple in Bangladesh. More voices raised means more international pressure to stop the discrimination of minorities. Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple will host a prayer vigil for Bangladesh Minorities on Saturday 23 October @11am. Please come and let us together do our part to end this horror. You can also sign the international petition here

Week Ahead 1-6 October 2021

Dear Friends

Please accept our best wishes. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

The month of October brings much auspiciousness into our lives. For a devotee, true auspiciousness descends when there are more opportunities to be touched by the mercy of the Lord in the form of association, darshan, and service. All these will be more manifest in the auspicious month of October.

Starting Monday, 4 October, we are happy to announce that the temple darshan times have been extended to 9am until 7:30pm. Next Saturday, 9 October, the temple will host a kirtan evening, details of which will be shared early next week.

We are delighted to announce that His Holiness Partha Sarathi Das Goswami is expected to return to Durban in a few weeks, after being away for almost two years! So, we can look forward to wonderful programs with Maharaj.

And of course – Kartik starts on Wednesday, 20 October. Devotees are busy making arrangements for inspiring programs, which can be safely experienced by all who attend. Please keep an eye and ear out for the details of all the upcoming programs.

The increased opening of the temple has many service opportunities for devotees. Please engage with us at temple@iskcondurban.net to discuss how you can be engaged at the temple.

Thank you. Hare Krishna.
