You can either join a book distribution team or the Harinam party. Food for Life Durban South will be distributing prasad at Bangladesh Market at 10am. You can have Harinam, distribute books or serve prasad.
9:30am-10am: Collect Book Packs from the Temple Sankirtan Book Office (Behind the Marquee)
10am-12:30pm: Go out on books/harinam (This can be Door to Door, a pre-planned Book Table or out on the street)

Safety
We value your safety and have taken extra care to ensure your visit to the Temple is pleasant. We will have flood lights all around the temple and surrounding areas. Police and private security will be on duty and patrol the entire area. There will also be a park and ride facility on the 18th & 19th of August.

We welcome a new deity of Srila Prabhupada for worship on his appearance and disappearance days at Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple.
Abhishek, Homages, Puspanjali and Guru-puja, and a Prasadam Feast

All followers of Srila Prabhupada (following the principles of Krishna consciousness and chanting Hare Krishna) are invited to prepare food offerings to be offered to Srila Prabhupada at his Vyasa-puja. Fruit & nuts, ghee, and dry items like basmati rice, etc., garlands, posies, and words of gratitude are also welcome. Food offerings must be handed in by no later than 11am at the Amphitheatre.
Note: Please be mindful that ISKCON has a no-polystyrene policy. Kindly do not bring your offerings in polystyrene.

Week Ahead 11-18 August 2022 – Balaram Purnima Festival Guide & Pre-Janmashtami Festival Guide

This week we prepare for the largest festival hosted by the temple. Friday is an all-day festival and from Saturday, Gita Week is celebrated every evening at 7pm with a kirtan, class, and snack prasad. Festival details are in the Week Ahead.

You are welcome to bring gifts for the Lord: ghee, Basmati rice, nuts, butter, birthday cards, or flowers.

1. Bhakti Yoga Society returned to campus after two-and-a-half years to distribute prasada and share bhakti wisdom with many eager students. Sharing Krishna consciousness at universities and colleges distinctly pleased Srila Prabhupada.
