Week Ahead 28 October – 10 November 2022

Dear Friends

Change in the Monthly Sankirtan Festival
There has been a change to Monthly Sankirtan Festival this Saturday, 29 October, as it is the disappearance day of His Divine Grace A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada.

We will incorporate the Monthly Sankirtan Festival during the midday program in the temple room where we will have book packs available for devotees to purchase for distribution at their leisure. These scores will be offered to Srila Prabhupada at the evening program. We encourage everyone to attend the midday program and take advantage of this Sankirtan effort.

We apologise for any inconvenience caused to those who made prior arrangements to go out on book distribution.

Service to the Vaishnavas on Srila Prabhupada’s Tirobhava Festival
We invite you to render service to the Vaishnava community by sponsoring the feast. Kindly contact Rupa Vilas 072 613 2197

Protecting Sri Sri Radha Radhanath’s Garden
Recently two beloved trees, a King Palm and an Ashoka on the “Krishna” side of the garden became irreversibly infected by the Polyphagous Shothole Borer beetle. This beetle is foreign to our lands and is infecting various areas throughout South Africa. Unfortunately, there is no cure nor prevention of infection. Only early detection can save a tree. These two trees have not survived the infection and have left their bodies. The trees have been cut down to ensure there is no spread of the beetle throughout the garden. We are grateful to these trees for providing beauty and shelter to the community.
