Join us this Saturday for the Monthly Sankirtan Festival. Bring your instruments, book bags, and comfy shoes as we share the Holy Name and Srila Prabhupada’s books in different areas around Durban. You can either join a book distribution team or the Harinam party. Food for Life Durban South will distribute prasad at Bangladesh Market at 10am. You can have Harinam, distribute books or serve prasad.
9:30am-10am: Collect Book Packs from the Temple Sankirtan Book Office (Behind the Marquee)
10am-12:30pm: Go out on books/harinam (This can be Door to Door, a pre-planned Book Table, or out on the street)
13:00pm: Back to the temple for lunch prasad and sharing of realisations and experiences

Devotees are already hard at work preparing for the three-day Sri Krishna Janmashtami Festival from 18-20 August. You can look forward to dance, bhajans, Krishna-katha, a mantra park, Krishna Kids birthday party, Govinda’s snack bar, live cultural entertainment, movies and drama, campfire kirtan, fruit & flower offerings, and free sumptuous meals.
