Bhakti Theatre joins The Playhouse Company’s 2018 Community Arts Festival
 
"The Fire-born Princess” has been selected to be part of The Playhouse Company’s 2018 Community Arts Festival (CAF). There were 60 applicants of which 18 were chosen to feature at the festival this year. The festival runs from 5-20 October. All the shows are free but booking is essential. The Fire-born Princess will be staged on Saturday 13 October @2pm. Sri Radhashtami 2018 Festival Guide

We have a splendid weekend planned to honour and celebrate Srimati Radharani. His Holiness Kadamba Kanana Swami has especially come to celebrate with us. Clear your schedule and take this opportunity to fill your heart with Sri Radha's divine love and mercy.
 
Saturday 15 September – Festival Day 1
Sacred Street Party @10am
with Kadamba Kanana Swami
Starts at Mini Town. Dress in your finest and most colourful. Do not forget your comfortable shoes, a sunhat, sunglasses, and sunblock. 
Prayers Cards for Srimati Radharani @3pm
In the Amphitheatre.
Bhakti Theatre will facilitate anyone wishing to offer a prayer and personal devotion to Srimati Radharani. Come along and design your own card and personal prayer. We will provide all raw materials for a donation of R30. Proceeds go towards the theatre.
Flower Petals for Flower Festival @4pm
We can all directly participate in the Flower Festival (flower petal bathing ceremony) by helping to make petals for the festival. You are also invited to sponsor petals for the abhishek.

Week Ahead 6-12 September 2018

Dear Friends
 
I trust you had a blessed Sri Krishna Janmashtami Festival. Thank you to those who rendered service to Sri Sri Radha Radhanath. My hope is that everyone who attended the festival feels closer to Krishna and will come forward to spend more time at the temple.
 
On Sunday 9 September is the Soweto Cultural Festival of Chariots. Since the inception of this festival, Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple has assisted with sponsorships, logistics, and organisation. I think this festival will bring great pleasure to Srila Prabhupada.
 
In 10 days we will be celebrating Sri Radhashtami. It will be a 3-day celebration and will include a pusha abhishek (flower We will be sharing festival details soon.
