Nrsimhadeva Festival Details and Other News

Dear Friends,
The celebration of the divine appearance of Lord Nrsimhadeva, the half-man half-lion avatar of Lord Vishnu, has been observed for millennia in India and is now celebrated world-wide. Sri Sri Radha Radhanath Temple will honor this day by holding events throughout the day on Saturday, May 2nd. Traditionally, bhakti-yogis honor Sri Nrsimhadeva as the protector of His devotees and the destroyer of all obstacles and difficulties on the path of devotion. Our speakers will share insights on the the role devotion to Nrismhadeva plays on the path of Bhakti. We warmly invite you to spend the day with us:

His Grace Vibhu Caitanya Prabhu will be giving the Nrsimhadeva Festival class at ISKCON Pietermaritzburg at 4pm. 

The Bhakti Yoga Society (university cultivation programme) is hosting a retreat for students from campuses across Durban. The retreat runs from Thursday, 30 April until Sunday, 3 May. These students have chosen to spend their long weekend with us learning and practicing devotion. When you see them, please make them feel welcome.
You are invited to join Rathim Krishna Prabhu, who has been invited to the Bahai Centre in Glenwood (5 Bartle Road) on Thursday the 30th April from 18:30 - 20:30. He will be representing ISKCON in the PEACE THIS TOGETHER EVENT.

Food For Life in Nepal
ISKCON worldwide is assisting the devotees in Nepal who will is currently assisting in providing food, shelter, medical and rescue relief to all victims.
