Last Week Ahead for 2020!

Dear Friends

With the second wave, more than fifteen devotees are infected with the COVID virus. I implore all of you to please be careful. Please stay at home, avoid gatherings, and take all precautions when you have to go out.

The Temple has imposed stricter protocols by limiting pujaris and the deity worship standard will be simplified. That means the resident devotees will continue their marathon of taking on the majority of the deity worship.

Each of us is responsible for curbing the pandemic and I request that you please take this seriously.

Now that we will be spending more time in our homes and the initial thrill of being “productive” at home has died down, how do you plan to spend your time? Books can help you travel the world and beyond. I take this opportunity to invite you on a journey across the universe to the lotus feet of Sri Krishna. Please set yourself a goal to read one or two or three of Srila Prabhupada’s books over the holidays. Try reading with your family, start a conversation with them, after all, Bhagavad Gita is a conversation between Krishna and Arjuna.

Gift family and friends one of Srila Prabhupada’s books. These books are the only true panacea.

This is our last Week Ahead mail for 2020. You will hear from us again in early January. Wishing you a happy and safe holiday!

Yours in service of Srila Prabhupada
Vibhu Caitanya Das
