Week Ahead 27 January – 2 February

Dear Friends
 
Come and honour the book distributors this Sunday at the 2016 Prabhupada Marathon Awards.
 
You are invited to help grind sandalwood (chandan) into pulp. We have set up two grinding stations in the temple room. This is a personal service to Sri Sri Radha Radhanath as the pulp will be used on Their Lordships bodies on Sunday, 29 January.

Saturday, 28 January
Monthly Sankirtan Festival
You can expect first class arrangements. Programme includes breakfast, training, distribution of book spots, transport, and a lunch feast. Registration is essential. We will also have sweets to hand out. The dress code is comfortable. If you feel confident, you may wear devotional dress. Kindly register via: temple@iskcondurban.net. We encourage you to come for the morning program to get the full benefit of the festival.

9:00am Orientation
9:30am Book Distribution at pre-arranged spots (Devotees will be going out in groups)
12:00pm Pack up and return to Temple
1:00pm Lunch and sharing of experiences

Writers Workshop with His Grace Tattvavit Das
6–8 February
6:30pm – 8pm

Tattvavit Prabhu is an associate editor for the BBT and was involved in the production of Back To Godhead magazine. He has also worked on books by His Holiness Tamal Krishna Maharaja and other senior devotees.
Note: registration is essential for this workshop.
